Adult Education at FCC Marshfield
At the heart of all we do in Christian education and nurture is providing a thoughtful and welcoming environment in which to connect, grow, and learn to serve the world in Christ’s name.
The Congregational tradition has always emphasized the need for an “informed laity.” In fact, the history of religious and public education in our country was greatly influenced by Congregational Christians. We started schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries.
We offer opportunities for study and discussion around a variety of themes, topics, and issues that help equip us to live the Christian life in the 21st century. We believe in the dignity of difference, while focusing on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
There are regular bible studies, along with book discussions, and topics relevant to Christian life. As we read, listen and interpret, we learn…together.
