Richard Bartlett grew up in the Crooked Lane neighborhood of Duxbury, MA and graduated from Duxbury High School. He served a three year enlistment in the US Army. He received his ministerial training through the Free Methodist Church of North America where he was ordained in 1972. An undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Languages was earned at Seattle Pacific University followed by a Master of Divinity degree earned at Andover Newton Theological School. Richard has served as pastor, short term interim pastor, minister to the elderly, and supply pastor. He and his wife, Diane, have two children, each successful in their chosen field of endeavor, science and education. Much of his ministry has been volunteer, ministering to the residents of several nursing homes in the area. He continues to maintain servicing of his insurance clientele, conducting home field and forest maintenance, and enjoying the life God has given him. He loves all people and strives for the building of individual, family, church and national unity through the living out of God’s Word for spiritual life and renewal.
