The significance of what we are called to do transforms what could be routine into what can be profound and meaningful, when mission becomes OUR mission.
We believe outreach to the community and world is the greatest commission of the Christian Church universal. This commission is expressed throughout the New Testament, and we see it expressed in the life and teachings of Jesus.
Our outreach ministry is divided into four categories – international, national, regional, and local. In addition there are always special needs locally and globally that we are moved to address.
In January, the Missions Committee sent money to Guidepost for subscriptions for the military. We also made donations to the Pine St Inn in Boston and Father Bill's and Mainspring House here on the South Shore.
